THE POINT IS THAT IF THE RESULTS STAY BAD HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET RID OF FERDINAND AND THE TWO PAPERBOYS
and then we can get back into gods country, and once more we can buy players as good as stan bowles and gerry francis
then we win the fa cup cup are you with me or are you with watford r who wants us to drop to the third division

Unfortunately our management team will be in place next season as this season was a 'work in progress'. This state of transition gives an excuse to fail. Burnley didn't need a season to consolidate. They started the season looking to get promoted which they've done. We started the season with excuses.
Washington could be a good squad player but we won't get promoted next season gambling on the likes of Polter and Washington. We need to get some proven scorers in.

i agree theyve got seven goals between them so thats an average of 3-5 goals each unfortunately the money that les lost on the austin transfer and washington has meant we really are up a creek without a paddle

Oslo - sending Ferdinand to Turkey was the making of Sir Les and the boy came back fitter and stronger. Im not suggesting we send Conor to Turkey, all I am suggesting is give the boy a chance. There are many on here who would rather get rid, however I believe that we encourage rather than slate our own - after all, don't we have a reject playing in the FA Cup and one that has won the title this year? (Delaney and Simpson)

Send him to Iceland for a year then so HH can toughen him up and teach him to jump an extra foot an a half?

He definitely needs a chance. You can see he's got desire and ability but it's not working as things stand and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for a while when questioning if it's his fault or his team/formation's fault.

I'd like to see what he can do in a number 10 role as well. He can pass well, control the ball well, has a decent first touch. But he is not interchangeable with Polter; they are totally different players. Sadly for Conor, he's being used in that way currently.

A huge disappointment today. He had space to run at defenders many times and failed every time that I remember. Lost every aerial challenge by a foot and a half. Hardly got hold of amything winnable let alone lay it off. Polter was a huge improvement when he came on for him.
