With the 'Mac' in their names it seems they sent us the wrong Scotsman.

No no no, they're both of a similar ability. They've got a similar return in their season at this level (when McLean was meant to be carrying an injury as well) and when I've seen them in L1 I've never seen anything to suggest they can be a top end player in the Championship. I'd rather stick with Fryatt, Simpson and a big man with McLean in reserve than go throwing more money at average media hyped players.

I'd gladly swap one Mc for Mac, but it won't happen, he's on the move in the summer and it will be for well over £2m.

He's certainly worth scouting. I suspect Mannone will come on loan for a season with Arsenal tying up a long contract and if we get promoted we'll look for someone like Lewis or Smithies on a permanent (or of course Mannone if we're in the PL and the situation at Arsenal changes). We don't really have the money to fund too big a deal for a keeper and get the other positions covered this summer.

Seen Lewis make a lot of mistakes this season. I'm not convinced he's worth the money.

CMS will probably go to Norwich or Watford for a lot more money than we want to spend.

Boyd would be great for us but out of our price range again, I think.

Also, Barry Fry says they are all going regardless of promotion or not.
