Got to admit I'm not a fan of doing things like this, where does it stop?

There are many players you could name.
Watcha Dai<ok>
I agree that sometimes these tributes are disingenuous but Whitts was 7th in the all time Bluebirds appearance record. And fourth in records for the last 50 years. So I think even if we wanted to do things retrospectively, the list wouldn't be that long. I also think it's worth remembering that Whitts was a true servant of the club and at his most effective, was never tempted to go elsewhere despite offers. On top of all that, he was a genuinely nice man

You also need to consider the young age and tragic circumstances in which he was taken.

C’mon Dai, how many City players do you know of whom played that many games with so many goals and special memories and gave untold pleasure to so many who’ve died so prematurely?

He was a total legend and a one off and distinct to anyone I can ever recall down the City.

I understand that, so a fair point.
I'd still like to see him with us for another season. Not exactly a Morison player but would add a bit of experience and bite if not the ball playing.

An older head to bring calming and advice to the young guns. I always felt he had that role when he and Flint played together. The young guys always looked to Morro for guidance and played better for it.
