It's just a shame that we can't sign a top striker that's played for the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and, er... Newcastle, eh Lidls?

Really?
 
Michael Owen hasn't scored 15 goals in all competitions since '04/05 and he'll never be anything like injury free.
He can't play 90 minutes and you'd be better off trying to develop Welbeck, Macheda or some other youngster or bringing in someone else altogether.

Well said PNP, people love Owen and I don't know why, one of the most over rated strikers ever and living off a few good years he had in the late 90's.

Thing is I'd still choose him in my team ahead of Defoe.

If you look at his goals this season they are all tap ins, put on a plate to him by other players. He gets out muscled 99% of the time when the ball is on the floor AND in the air, he cannot turn players, always passes backwards, spends about half a year juggling the ball with his knees once he chests it down. I don't have a 7 year old daughter but if I did I bet she could kick the ball harder than Crouch.

Still, all that said he seems a nice guy and his missus is hot so he is not all bad I suppose.

Most of the time him reminds me of a baby giraffe. But then he scores a couple of goals and I forget. Then I see him flapping around trying to head the ball with all the power of.. well he might as well have a balloon instead of a head. He is strange one
 
Imogen Thomas is a bike. Only Danielle Lloyd has more footballers than her I think.

I don't understand how O'Hara could settle down with her after knowing all her ex's.

She was going to be included in one of the season ticket packages at one point.
 
I don't get O'Hara either, fancy workin with someone who's banged yer missus back door in...wouldn't have sat well with me at that age...strange boy.
