I genuinly dont think its the player, could well be wrong like.

Your right though its possible that its 2 in 2 days that have used us in some way
 
Fee agreed. Give him 24 hrs or the deals off.

Move on and get somebody else. Lets not get f*cked about by either agents or players. If this drags on other agents will see us as an easy touch.
 
bollox. him and mendy blanking us ain't good craic, although i suspect for very different reasons. hey ho, mendy is a no go but hopefully peruzzi's agent can be smoothed over

From everything ive heard, we've agreed with Peruzzi and Velez, but the agent is holding it up as he wants a bigger slice of the pie, from Velez, not from us. So nothing we can do there, except pull out of the deal and lose a VERY highly rated RB which we are desperate for. Not good to be pulling out of the deal, all we can do is lean on the agent and get this through quickly, as we need to get Peruzzi over to England and settled.

I still have faith in this coming off!
 
If he's as good as I'm led to believe then I don't see the problem. He's on low wages and coming for a small fee (I think) Anybody got an Idea of a fee?
 
think we have to be realistic and realise we are'nt going to get all our targets due to various reasons that will always occur, it happens to other clubs as well as us.

Agreed. These agents are just window shopping, putting their interest out there. Let's face it, we never buy the first car we see, theyre just doing the same.

We've done quite a bit of business already and there's still a long way to go.

Gino Peruzzi has revealed it was his decision to reject Sunderland's initial offer, but stressed that an agreement could still be imminent.

The Velez Sarsfield player looked set to join the Black Cats after a deal was agreed between the two clubs but the 21-year-old could not settle upon terms with the Premier League side.

"There was an agreement between both teams but I had to analyse my contract," Peruzzi told reporters after Tuesday's training session.

"Together with my family we decided that it wasn't what we expected, and that's why we said no."

"It's not true that my agent asked for a higher commission, those were lies.

"It's the player who decides if he wants to be transferred or not, according to the contract that you are offered, and for the moment I decided not to accept it".

But Peruzzi has not ruled out a move to Sunderland, even going so far as to suggest an agreement could have been reached between the club and his agent on Tuesday while he was busy training.

He added: "It's not that I don't want to go to Sunderland - it's a team in the Premier League, one of the most important leagues in Europe. I am willing to listen to a new proposal.

"For the moment I don't know what has happened today because I have been all the morning training. Once I get home I will have a word with my agent.

"For what I hear from the press, it seems as though there is now an arrangement, but I will know it once I get home and talk with my agent."
