Saw Terry Mac loads of times in the shops with his son. Used to buy loads of sweets.

Beardo and his boy were another pair that seemed to like their sweets too, used to see them in the shops on Clayton Street before it all changed.

Never actually met any players myself if I'm honest!
Never really met anyone that famous... the bass player from the Kaiser Chiefs and Steve Lamacq is the closest I get to famous ha. They know my mates brother (Simon & Nick Kaiser's record label manage them)

I heard Pederson said next time Joey's in Manchester they should go to lunch together!
Just you wait, give it 2 months and I'll be posting saying I met Pederson and Joey in a Subway or something! ha

    Although not strictly a 'player'
back when Carver was Bobby's assistant he came to the league I played in end of season awards night.
and presented me with oppositions player of the year, still got the trophy in the house with Carvers signature next to it

My thoughts entirely, but if you want someone with a bit of class, that would be Ossie Ardilles, he used to come into House of Fraser on a Thursday night about once a month to buy a white Dior shirt. (probably for match days) but he was a lovely man and his family were nice as well.
Unlike a certain Mrs Hall, who didn't think she should carry her own bags.
Gazzas mam wore a badge saying "I'm Gazzas mam", I don't know if she expected preferential treatment for that.
My favourite has to be not a footballer but a wag, Julie Phillips. Don''t cringe, she's a great girl an absolute laugh a minute. She used to scale our shelves like spiderman, but she had excellent patter. Gave away quite a few secrets as well!!!!!

Ok, you've twisted my arm. Two things spring to mind, one was unpaid salary and the other was the extent the press went to when there were rumours about her circulating. It was pretty nasty and did go way beyond public interest.

Just seen shola today when I was on the way to the bookies - seems a nice enough fella (though he was walking his little lap dog - thought he'd have something a bit more manly!)

Also seen Harps, Nolan and Pardew at various points and all seems nice enough! I reckon Ranger would be a bit of a ****er though.
