Haha it’s the not knowing I hate! I’d be content if we couldn’t get in at all but because there’s a chance I can’t put my mind to anything else!

It's completely backwards and I know it makes me seem like I'm not a supporter, but honestly the feeling I had when we were 2-1 down at Watford was one of relief that it was all over :D

But then the goal went in I felt elation that it wasn't. :D

football is so annoying.

its a good indication though that if it doesn't work out on Monday, its not the end of the world. its been a tremendous season.

We have literally nothing to lose. Which is what I think makes us so dangerous.

Saw an interaction on Twitter earlier of a Luton fan pretty much say that’s the reason they don’t want us in the play offs, skilful, no quit and unpredictable, we’d be a nightmare for anyone in a mini tournament really

Hope I’m not being over confident but does anyone know if the playoff dates have been released/ finalised yet? I have an awful feeling I’m on call (again!) but would try and get it covered. Thanks in advance

  • Championship. Saturday, 13 May: Semi-final, first leg - 6th v 3rd (17:30 BST) Sunday, 14 May: Semi-final, first leg - 5th v 4th (12:00 BST) ...

Thanks Hudson. Appreciate that mate. I’m able to get some cover for that weekend so hopefully I’ll be able to get a couple of tickets!

We booked our hotel as soon as they came out.

We just have to hope Boro miss out.

Hotels have been known to resell rooms, at twice the price, and claim it was an admin error. They refund you but it's then a scramble to grab another.

Don’t think I could afford the final Smug. I’m just happy that someone can cover for me at least to cheer the lads on for the 1st leg of the semi! I was fortunate enough to get to last years play off final. I didn’t try to get tickets as I felt others who had been to more games deserved tickets ahead of me. I got offered a couple of spares through a good mate and it was too good to turn down. Will be even harder to get them this year if we got through!

Booked away for the final too :emoticon-0102-bigsm be typical Sunderland to go all the way without me, no complaints if they do mind!

I don't normally do negative posts, but I'm getting nervous about Monday. I'm convinced we will win, but starting to become equally convinced that Millwall and Coventry will too. Anyone with any positive thoughts me, knowledge of Coventry injuries etc? :emoticon-0100-smile

Take heart in the fact that we've had a cracking season, come what may....plenty to be proud of.
There's 2 play off places up for grabs, and 5 teams with a chance of getting one of them. We are one of them teams....I would have took your hand off for that at the beginning of the season.
Also, Millwall are ****e.

I've studied the league since the Watford game and have convinced myself there is no way both Millwall and Coventry 's results will fall into our lap.
Things like this never happen to our club....do they.
I'm very open to a more optimistic point of view mind.

Either find a pub with the game on or fill your fridge up with plenty of cans, watch the match and enjoy the ride. Win, lose or draw, its been a hell of a season and one that people could probably not have predicted at the start of the season. Then you can look forward to the silly summer season for signings and then wait with baited breath for next season!
