Yes, but look where Sunderland are in the form table. I haven't looked at the table, but I would bet my entire student loan that they are in the bottom 3 of the form table and I would bet 1 year of my student loan that they are bottom.
Watching highlights on Saints Player and Yoshida was very lucky not to concede a penalty for a bodycheck on Moses.
I don't think it was quite a penalty. He was definitely pushing his luck though. I wouldn't have been surprised to see it given.
It was a penalty. He bodychecked him and it wasn't a 50-50 challenge. Yoshida made no attempt to play the ball.
Yes OK, no need to make a crusade about it, otherwise we'll be getting Chelsea fans on here saying they were robbed.
Moses let the ball get away from and Yoshida got in between man and ball, textbook defending, commentators said the same at the time.
I think it could have gone either way...it looks like more like a shove than a block or body check in replays. It had to be done and wasn't given...luck evening out.
Moses was looking for it. That one where Lambert tackled Lampard(?) and everyone randomly stopped was weird. Everyone looked at the ref who sheepishly blew his whistle.
http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/suspensions n.b. Suspensions are automatically imposed for accumulating 5, 10, or 15 cautions in a season. There are cut-off dates for receiving a sanction as a result of accumulated cautions. They are: CAUTIONS CUT OFF DATES (Inclusive) 5 = 31 December 10 = 2nd Sunday in April 15 = End of Season For example, a player earning their fifth caution of the season on or after 1st January would not earn any ban. However, if they received ten cautions by the second Sunday in April, a ban would apply. Players who receive 20 or more cautions in a season shall be required to attend a Regulatory Commission.
I'm making this permanent Saints thread slightly less so, folks. It's going to lose it's sticky quality.
