Wish I could be a 'weatherman' or should I say ......... Weatherperson.

They tell us the sun will rise in the morning and that the moon will come out at night ................... and they get paid for it!
They don't have to get the weather prediction right ................. they can blame an unexpected 'low trough' coming through. ( had one of those after eating Mexican ..... must of been those beans )
They only make a quick appearance on the six o'clock nightly news so they can hit the bar afterwards and go and play golf in the morning .............. sheer blo-ody luxury I say!

    Where do I sign?

Except when it dumps 8 foot of water on you in a day and you get to see how the Bangladeshis feel every year. Or it doesn't rain for 10 years and you are twinned with Mali. Aaaah, the lucky country.

I was driving past RAF Benson (a place that is usually referred to for temperature readings in the south) at around 230pm today and my car showed the outside temperature as .................18 degrees. This weather predicting is a piece of piss!!

Air con ................ what's that you say? Those of us living day by day in the deep south ( of Queensland ) are lucky just to have electricity.
I'm sure Ma & Pa have heard of .... what you say ... air con but none of us wee folk have every come across it before.

Them lucky city folk up north ( in BrisVegas) have all those shiny new units it but down south here like ........... we was happy to git some breeze when the dog farted and all that like.
I guess I'll just mosey on back to my rockin chair on the porch and chew me tobacco.

Queens, it gets pretty cold mornings & evenings anywhere west of the Great Dividing Range.
My son is working out at Chinchilla as we speak and anywhere out there does get very cold at times.
I did a job out at Pitsworth just out of Toowoomba and it was minus 1 when I started work in the morning ( around this time of year.)
