Look for Perdew to come after both Gomis and Shelvey with his 20 million emergency transfer fund at Palace, both players hes been after before.
Looks like Bony is gone , Gomis looks like a probability with his release clause dictating it , and Shelvey still a very good possibility for a very profitable " treble" of good business .Instead of 35 million , looks like a possibility of 45 Million.
I'd rather see a tidy team than a tidy bank account , and before you say it ,yes we can buy more players , when now when prices are inflated .
Why would we want to keep our best players when we can have the money in the bank and play football in the Championship. Makes perfect sense. We need to keep our best players and improve the squad, not strip it. To remain in this league next season we will need to further invest and improve our starting 11 and squad and that is just to stay where we are.
Is rather see both Matt , inflated prices are for suckers , deflated gems are out there and has always been our way.
Where did we end up in the table our first season in the Premier lefty and who did we bring in and how much did we spend the summer leading up to our first season .Its a Myth that you cant sell at the right time and rebuild, we've proved it and so has Southampton .And above all , try to remenber the buckets going around , it wasn'T that long ago .Probably 180,000 Thousand £ a week saved if these 3 players are moved along , along with the money banked ...its just good business.
I was more adament that they wanted to go more than going , as I am now ....Same as Gomis now .As shaper has been banging on about , I dont want anyone around that appears to want out or seem unhappy ....especially if another team are looking to spend big to alieviate the problem.
Dont be a fool valley , some players become unhappy first then want to leave .If somehow the Bony deal falls through , guys like you and Stumpy and your logic will say " See , hes happy and never wanted to go " when its abundently clear Bony wants to go to a big club ....like he did this past summer
If it falls through its because they haven't matched our valuation. Bony has always said he wants CL football. But I do think he is happy here and if we could provide CL football and £150k a week wages he'd stay. Only a fool would have a fire sale of our best player
Your saying I want everyone gone and there will be no one left to be unhappy ...lol....Its not as easy as what I want , its what Bony , Gomis and Shelvey want and how the team react. I wanted to sell Bodde when we got an offer over 5 Million and Michu when he was valued at 20 million...how did those " non Sales " work out for us
""But if the club follows your logic we wont have anyone left to be unhappy here "" ...suppose you explain your comment then ..
Ya , three of them tactically , leaves the rest if the team and tons of money to rebuild , how do get no one left ?
