I know he's not the best player in the squad, but he seems to have started the season brightly...however, it appears we may need to find an immediate replacement for him as he's out "for months" according to Beeb and Offy....

As someone who suffers from bad knees, this sounds painful

From Beeb....QPR defender James Perch will be out "for a number of months" with a dislocated knee cap it was confirmed after the match.

We desperately need a loan in to add some numbers to the defence. There's the very real prospect of Caulker playing against Cardiff and that terrifies me slightly.

So the Perch is done and off the menu - too bad after a bright start to his season.

Sadly, battered James will be perched on the sidelines for a period of time.
The chips might be down but as long as he doesn't go belly up, he be back for another serve.

A few more injuries and we'll be down to the bare bones of a small/weak squad.......

With the scale of his injury we need to do some fin about numbers in defense, we are down to bare bones!

There are plenty of fish in the sea. We just need to catch a few before end of August. Is our problem, with getting people on loan, the wages?

Otherwise we could get a premier league defender in who is not getting a game. We would probably need the other club to help with the wages, I guess.

I would imagine that there is plenty of fishing going on behind the scenes, but for whatever reason we've been unable to reel any players in.
Maybe we should cast our net wider.

Yes indeed, perhaps bring John Scales out of retiremet, only 51, central defender?
