Once again top, top post, you call them muppets, I call them conformists! Most 'fans' are unsure of their opinion until they are given it!

Your post highlights yet another reason that having a DOF or some similar set up (like Marwoods role at City, perhaps) is a good idea, it limits the sweeping changes that are inevitable when the manager is changed so often and helps to keep some continuity regardless of who the manager happens to be! No DOF(continuity) within a very financially limited club with massive expectations is surely nigh on impossible; the expression " having all your eggs in one basket " springs to mind!

    Top post <ok>

Kenny's signings weren't as bad as made out to be. It was DC's fault for the prices, not KK's. I think both Adam and Downing were poor signings, but I have to admit I can't blame KK at all for wanting Downing. He does show frustrating glimpses as to why he would have been a good signing... and then he crosses the ball into the Kop just to spite us.

Hopefully those who advised them have been sacked, and as it stands with our own little Night of the Long Knives, we've done a top to bottom purge of those responsible. I feel as if Dalglish was collateral damage, unfortunately. I would have given him a second season. However things look a bit brighter (ignoring Dowd's little game today) and hopefully KD's signings will come good. That would just be painful for the Daily Fail and the Beeb to stomach.
