I haven't read an article for some time relating to where peoples names come from. I know there was one on the old 606.

Mine is obviously Carra as in Road and buh which should technically be boi. I seem to remember a trend when everyone was calling everyone boi at work at the time but I took the phonetic sound so as not to appear yokel, which is pretty vacuous (particularly with an H) admittedly, although I do have a pathological hatred urban music which should have removed the need.

I like creative thoughts so whats the reasoning behind some of the names? Please put them down (not just those mentioned).

Zogean King (King,do you know Royal?)
Tony_Munky_canary (already know but please explain to others)
Wonky (are you on the piss?)
Maestro (Credit card trouble?)
Yarco canary (are you a bit rough?)
Royalbarclayfan (know the queen, do we?)
Dangerous Marsupial (can you jump and punch like Tyson?)

and of course the one we all want to know canary-dave. (mistaken identity Rodney?)

If this has been done before then just ignore. I just haven't seen it.

Mines self explanatory could of given it more thought at the time.

Hate urban music? But you were saying what a massive N-Dubz fan you are the other day Carrabuh.

I was a fan of one John Ruddy from when he first arrived at CR - mine was a pretty ;onely voice in the early days!!!

How times change.

I'd just like to add that I think Pilks will turn out to be an oustanding player!! I also admired Jack Wilshire when he came here with Arsenal reserves a few seasons ago. <ok>

On the rest of the internet, my moniker is DHChemist, as I mainly discuss science, particularly chemistry (my degree subject). It didn't seem to fit on a sports forum, but using Canary allowed me to keep the DHC initial, and seemed to fit nicely, so it seemed like the natural choice.

Well, you certainly showed more vision than me, I said he was rubbish and would never make it, although I will maintain he was poor at the time and I was feeling pretty cock sure about goalkeepers after saying the Greek Australian was hopeless pre-Colchester.

Whats DH then? name initials

Well mines an oddball one, any cricket fans out there?
Max comes from a piss take audio cd series called "the twelth man" ripping up Richie benaud and other commentators. Max walker is one of them

Most of the fans around me at CR (lower N&P) agreed with you in his early days, but look foward to seeing him back in a couple of months. The least said about the Greek Australian the better.

carrabuh, dear man
´royalbarclayfan´
Is easily explained as you´ll see,
It´s nothing to do
With the Reading blue
As some have mentioned to me

The Barclay was where
I stood and would cheer
Every second week, at least,
Along with my dad
When I was a lad
Before I set sail heading east

Now the ´royal´ bit
Is easy to fit
If you could guess at my surname,
A clue, if you´re vexed
Our dog is called Rex
Which should put it all in the frame. :)

Pretty obvious where I've taken my name from, however strictly speaking my moniker should be; "kick off, throw in"

I might be dull, but I find that quite interesting

I knew there was a reason for the delay, no idea about the dog reference sadly, don't like pets (all cats should be put down).
