    Actually I did write one called “ The last tower “
    it is about the last block they flattened…. I remember the day it was demolished, got to look around, mad, no doors, the sound the wind makes as it runs through the building…

    Loads of Brits in NotL.....I've never seen so many union jacks in gardens etc....A lot more than here...From memory the hotel on the main street is 'Prince of Wales'..plus oldest golf course still in operation in North America, by the lake...Theres a plqaue by the bandstand with the names of the swimmers who have swam across the lake to Toronto...recall the Toronto skyline forty miles across the lake glinting in the sunlight and of course the CN Tower...Great place.
