I wouldn't say I'm superstitious, but do have something I do that may seem superstitious. It's not, it's just bloody stupid.

I can't leave the TV volume on an odd number. If the Mrs turns it up or down to say 13 or 15, I use my remote and move it 14 or 16. I know nowt will happen if I leave it on an odd number, but it's not worth taking the risk....

I won't walk under a ladder either, but that's more to do with someone up the ladder dropping a hammer on me heed.

I do the same with the tv volume, it's not superstitious it just annoys me. Although in my case multiples of 5 are fine, preferable actually.

I don't think I've ever had any superstitions on a match day. Well - I usually have to wear a piece of clothing with the badge on but that's normal isn't it? I think superstitions are all in the mind and will only affect you if you allow them - touch wood!

I have various alarms set on my phone, none of which are set on the hour, or the half hour, not even the quarter ... I have them on times like 606, 747, 808, etc.

They're all notable numbers and it was only when someone asked me about it that I realised I was doing it.

'Your brain works in mysterious ways,' they said <laugh>

    Aye.
It's in a hospice so some of the stuff printed is confidential. Everything sent to print is "locked", and needs a pin to print it. It means I can only print what I send to the printer.
