Talking of ball boys, wtf were they doing yesterday, I was sat in the east stand and they seemed to be taking forever, to the extent that at one point McGregor came right across to one of them on the touch line to give him a bollocking. If they seemingly have such little interest in the game then why are they appointed ball boys?
I've not had any problems getting to turnstiles 6a to 6c. Unless you're very old or very young I can't see how anyone can have any problems.
Yeah that's what I thought, but the one near to me in the east stand seemed to have very little interest in the game, or getting the ball back in good time.
One away game (think it was Burnley) I had to wait because some thick **** in front of me had decided to scan his ticket and then just stand there looking gormless rather than enter the ground. Scan the barcode, walk in. Not difficult.
Pity they couldn't just have swipe cards ... that would have been too easy I'm sure they should install this system for the London underground to make it even more efficient ... a friend of mine got 'locked out' the other week , accused of double / other already using his card (which is a known loophole of this system) - card confiscated but let in - week later apology & refund ... great system ?
Its got worse the last few weeks as well. It was clearly designed that the whole end would be for one set of fans, it really needs sorting though because it's a joke at the moment.
If everyone arrived at the stadium in reasonable time then we wouldn't have a problem with queues, simple as.
There's nothing to stop you joining Happy. You know, fight your'e battle from the front, rather than from the back ? That's what PLT does.
Thats not how the entertainment industry works though. People who are paying to see an event shouldn't have to arrive early just to ensure they get in at all, especially when they've been turning up at 2.50pm for years with no problems.
What's stopping me is principles and self respect. Why would I join people like PLT who are against the things I admire and respect? You think he's on the committee to foster an understanding and working relationship with someone he wants gone and who he's described is all sorts of different derogatory terms? You think the owners don't know the views of each and everyone one of that committee? I don't agree with the EDL, but I aint gonna join them to fight their policies from the inside, so, yeah, that's a stupid analogy you lot keep using.
