    Ive got a mate whos got fa coaching badges and is a coach at the safc foundation.

    Ive forgotten more than he'll ever know about football so I think this op statement is bollox.

    You don't need to know about football to manage!! I coach u10 level and learn a lot from watching them play... I show the defenders things like wes brown blocking a shot (let the ball hit him) rather than hanging a leg out and turning around... But I don't learn as much about the game from watching it as I do from watching the kids
