Pennant will most probably be in jail pretty soon and his contract cancelled with us I would think, so obviously we need a replacement. We already needed backup wingers so this has to be our priority this summer alongside a proper right back.

Who would we want to replace Pennant? There's 3 that spring to mind for me and they are Jarvis, Hoilett and if Blackpool don't go up, Matty Phillips.

I would like to see Jarvis & Hoilett quite honestly.

Jarvis was by far the best player on the pitch when we played them at the Brit! I think Hoilett will be destined for bigger clubs and I think he has an attitude that could well blow up in the coming seasons!

In relation to Jarvis he is at his best when he beats his man and gets into the box. Although he does cross the ball from wide areas he is more effective when he wips the ball in with pace, which doesnt really suit our strikers! I cant see any of these happening personally, I think Shotton will get promoted in place of Pennant, he will run another year with Ethrington and use Dealp and Walters as cover!

As Smithers says, I think Hoillet will get snapped up. I said on another thread, I like Moses, but I think he'll stay at Wigan. Seb Larsson would be a decent option.
