It bugs me, too. But everyone does it so I don't have a real complaint as far as it being unfair or anything. If Tadic likes to take them that way, he should. Same thing with anyone who takes them against us.

Just as a matter of aesthetics I guess, I find them super-annoying.

I notice Lambert played for Liverpool today and didn't take the penalty they were awarded. The twerp Gerrard promptly stepped up and it was saved by Rob Green [who is a pretty good penalty saver tbf].
I saw Gerrard interviewed after the game and he admitted he had broken the golden rule of penalty-taking: he changed his mind during the run up. You wouldn't catch Sir Rickie doing that.

My reaction was typical English player taking penalties. Inflexible mind.

Matty has said on many occasions that he changed his mind all the time. He had one set corner but could change his mind at the last split second. That takes real class.

And here's a new one to me. Posting it before I've even watched it myself:

Its fine to stutter or feint a shot in normal play, why not in pens?
Is it ok for the GK to do a dance like they need a wee to put striker off?

Always thought the stutter was for posers. Doesn't fool the keeper and makes the run up shorter. Totally needless.
