http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19013404 Good that we are holding out for his true value. Warnocks also said Leeds are interested.
Too late the tango has gone now! I don't get this worshipping of Gallagher especially from messrs young and stringer whilst other players get constantly slated, ffs gally has 1 good game and 9 **** games but people love him
You don't get why Stringer loves Gally? It's because they are bosom buddies. I think it's unprofessional of Stringer to keep telling us different to what our eyes see just because they're mates.
Gally is a luxury player who who is very good to have in the squad. If Gally is used properly he will be a big player for us next season. In the past 2 season he has scored 21 goals from the wing so he can't be that bad
Surprised your great manager is letting him leave to be honest. I mean he was never going to be good enough for us, but he could have done a job for you lot. Bit of a kuntish thing of the manager to do though, sending him home from the tour. Suppose it illustrates Pearson's weakness.....immaturity.
Yes, telling him he wont be in his plans now rather than waiting till the transfer window closes. Does Bruce lick all your players bumholes long enough for them to be upset when they arent playing in September? The crap manager is the one that isn't direct with his players.
lcmeltonfc, im with you on the Gallagher front, tho i think you were being over generous including the tango, and im asuming we would have had to give change from the 50p fee for him, otherwise we may have been up on extortion charges cos that was way way way overpriced.........
or we could just throw Wellens in for free as well, as a make weight in the deal, and get rid of two lots of dead wood in one go lol.............
I would let Wellens go as i think Drinkwater does a simlair job to Wellens but he is alot more mobile I lile Wellens alot as a player but last season he was shocking. With a seroius knee injury now i cant see him getting his old form back at his age
No doubt he'll do an Oakley now and hand around for another 1 to 2 years, hardly getting a kick, and then bitching about Pearson when he leaves.
I would recommend not playing de laet at cb, he made a lot of mistakes for us and we sent him back early. He looked so far out of his depth in the premier league. I'm sure he will be better in the champ but really needs to use his brain a bit more. Whitbread is a good signing though! Many were surprised to see him leave but signing Turner has justified that decision.
De Laet has come in to play right back Wes Morgan, Sean St. Ledger and Zak Whitbread and hopefully 1 more will be the centre halfs
Is Turner the lad from Peterborough? I've heard a lot of good things about him from my Posh supporting mates.
