I hope people don't constantly compare him to Naughton, I can see it now, he misses a tackle or gives away a penalty, and there would be cries of "Naughton wouldn't have done that" etc etc

Defensively i dont think Naughton was the best defender we have ever had and his pace got him out alot of trouble but going forward he was top class. I would settle for Peltier to be solid at the back a good going forward

guys, naughton was a different class.

however different player is in, we must move on. Looks a decent player, real tests will start this weekend though!! I imagine he will be 2nd choice to Paintsil though...

Peltier had a good game, and I thought Bamba was absolutely class.

Danns looked exciting too, Saturday can't come soon enough!

Peltier looks a solid player and didnt look out of his depth against Ronaldo when some world class defenders have

I think after last week I think Peltier should start with the shirt. Pantsil didnt play against Real as he didnt have a work permit but that should of been sorted by now

Agreed. Pantsil should have to earn the shirt and Peltier deserves to start after last week. I don't think it's work permit that's the issue with Pantsil, otherwise I doubt we would have announced his signing (i.e. Masilela). I read somewhere that it was International clearance that was stopping him from actually taking part in a match. I'd imagine that's been sorted by now.
