In fairness to reports of how much we have bid, it is all rumours

http://www.thisisleicestershire.co....-Peltier-bid/story-16609434-detail/story.html that story suggests we were turned down at £600k the exact same bid as Huddersfield and we will be going back with an improved offer. Considering the article is 6 days old I would imagine we have gone back with an improved offer, personally I don't believe the fee will be below £600K - Our slow pace of securing signings with fee's involved are clear that we have to sell to buy and with some reports stating we received an asset value of £750K for Snoddy I guess there isn't much in the pot.

All speculation and as he hasn't signed yet and as it is likely to be an undisclosed fee if he does I guess we never will know.

Precisely. We should not get into the realms of offering what they demand, but solely what we believe he is worth. If they reject it, we then walk away and look elsewhere.

Why should we pay through the nose for Leicester's failures?

Not quite the full shilling really are you ? <doh>

Leicester rejected a bid from Huddersfield of 650k saying they wanted 850k
be kind enough to explain to me why you think they should except Leeds offer of 400k,

is it because you won a cup once ?

So what your saying is > They have turned down a bid of 650k
so you should go and offer 400k and tell them to take it or leave it <doh>

dont be surprised if they laugh at your face <ok>

Hohoho. According to Duncan Castles, the fee is £400,000.

Mighty - stick that in your pipe and smoke it
