Funny you'd think he would be more concerned about the tea boy taking swipes at his own fans rather than what Jose is doing.

That's where we have the advantage over Arsenal, City and Man U. Our fans are unanimously behind our manager and that will help to create a better atmosphere at home games and make it easier for us on the whole.

Joses' jumping into the crowd seems more to do with relief than spite. Pellegrinis non handshake seems the opposite. That said, I suppose they were both a bit at fault.
Jose wen't Over the top.Pellegrini went under the bar.
Slap on the wrist for both, and let's get on with it. I still think they are both decent men and great managers , and am sure both would do things differently if they could go back.
Spur of the moment is an uncomfortable thing to sit on.

What Jose did was spur of the moment, excitement, relief, joy whatever, as I bet we all felt when that goal went in, Whereas what Pellegrini did was obviously premeditated and so no excuse. Jose apologised, did Pellegrini ?

Football is an emotional game, and when you beat your probably biggest rivals in the league in the last minute why is it a 'lack of class' to celebrate it? A lack of class is being a sore loser.

I dont think that Pellegrini was a particularly sore loser. But most managers and players can celebrate without trying to rub their opponents nose in it (or appear to do so). I remember one when Keown did some weird gesticulation in front of RVN 's face at the final whistle. I think much later when he had retired, Keown said it was something he wished he'd not done as it was not very professional and looked quite childish. Not in the same category as Jose's I admit but you see my point.

    100%.

We're in an era where a lot of football fans feel they can't relate to their club/manager/players and a lot of that is to do with money and increase in media/commercial attention. Showing emotion is one of the ways in which we can get that connection, if it's celebrating with the crowd or posting some nonsense message on social media then so be it.

Keown went up to RVN and screamed and laughed in his face from about 6 inches a really personal 'rub your nose in it' gesture, Mourinho jumped into his home crowd and celebrated with them, you cannot compare the 2 at all. My vies isn't partisan either as I'm not a Chelsea fan defending him, I'm a Hammer (about the only one left on this site I think).

Mourinho was neither rubbing Pellegrini's face in it or appearing to do so. You being a Trafford fan (I believe) should probably look at your own lot first. Your players are known to celebrate in front of fans after scoring, but I don't recall you making anything out of that.

A certain Garath Neville and a sprint to the other side of the pitch to celebrate in front of away fans after a late winner comes to mind.
