Barca insisted he stayed for the 3 Super Cup games, after watching him play in them LvG said forget it. Sometimes waiting can be a good thing :emoticon-0100-smile

so.. this crazy logic goes like this.

You (vG) were interested in a player vG never even watched, and progressed negotiations without knowing anything about him and apparently after seeing him play three times vG decided against? it cos three games is totally a reflection of a player's quality? who is like 27 years old and good enough to be at Barca.. but not good enough for United?

LvG knows him well, he has been a great player for Barca but is now sat on the bench for a reason and it was obvious in those games <ok>

Then why did he need three games to decide? <whistle>

Also @Diego how come these excuses all come out after Chelsea sign him, there is no trace of all this talk from you prior to Pedro picking Chelsea <laugh>

I would have loved us to sign him as backup but it seems he is no longer up to starting, which is what we wanted.

Have Chelsea signed him? Up to Tuesday morning people were saying we had.

City were always going to spend after last year, Chelsea are now well into panic mode after Jose thought he knew best and has been proved wrong.

In today's game at the top, if you don't spend almost every season you fall behind, you know that well enough post Fergie.

City had one summer of transfer ban and they lost their title. Arsenal haven't really invested since the invincibles and haven't won the league since either.

Considering that you don't have anyone anywhere near the class of Suarez, Messi or Neymar, I don't think the argument about him not starting stacks up!!

What United attackers would oust any of those 3??

    Hazard-oscar/willian-pedro.

Willian doesnt do enough on the right, in the middle hed press amazingly and start counters off well too.

Id swap fabregas for rlc or even mikel and integreate zouma and baba ASAP.

Its a great piece of news, maybe a cb and a striker and we're ready.

A striker? Come on now. A CM ahead of a striker surely. When our play speeds up again the goals will flow from up top, regardless if its Costa, Remy or Falcao.

You seem to be confused and lost. The Liverpool board is that away> <laugh>

This is about Chelsea whipping the rug out from under you lot and how Pedro is all of a sudden not needed and never wanted by United :D

I don't mind mocking the Dippers on the Chelsea board BBF. Dipper Mocking is acceptable in all good forums.

Whilst "Dippers" is hilarious, the UK stats on child poverty show there is significantly more in manchester than Liverpool.
Food for thought on the whole Dipper thing. <whistle>
