I've listened to the interview again and NP did say that Corrigan could no longer work and that was related to a player no longer at the club. Whatever proves be the truth about the Slovenia trip, the club obviously had sufficient grounds to dismiss Bullard, but the knock on effect for Corrigan is a puzzler. :|
i wonder if Big Joe has been on Bullard's case since the day he joined the club. I suppose at his age he's nothing to lose and could take a decent last pay day. Good luck to him anyway. You are 100 times the man that money grabbing little toad will ever be. You have certainly crammed the full 60 seconds in to the minute you have run.
I would say from the publicly know info the most likely situation is that there was incident in Slovenia with a departed player and a woman from Slovenia. Then a now departed member of the coaching team had a discussion with the departed player that got a little heated. To reduce the chance of legal problems for the club the member of the coaching team has had to leave the club to reduce the chance of someone arguing there were different rules applied for different people.
seems quite plausible. I just hope media pundits go with Big Joe rather than the money grabbing smack rat (allegedly)
Nah - he was invited. In order to: a) make a fresh start or b) create an enormous ****-up, which would lead to his sacking
Matt Duke being sent packing? I know it was some time before now, but he was our only GK at the time he went (I think) and Joe C. could have just been working his 'notice' (That's if it deffo wasn't Slovenia/JB.)
Was it said that JC couldnt work at City or football in general. Either of which the mind boggles as to what has happened
If memory serves, the direct quote from Nigel was that it was "directly related to an incident in pre-season involving a player no longer at the club."
That's the puzzling thing. NP said it with such an air of finality that suggest JC had left football altogether. If he's gone as a sop to Bullard, then it's a ****ty way thing to do to him but a case of wheels within wheels. If it's something else, you have to wonder of the magnitude of the misdemeanour.
Thomo you might call him a nasty piece of work . I call him a thick **** . He's a ****ing ****** , no wonder he hasn't got two bob to rub together .
