He said he didn't want his manager to leave and he thought we had a better squad, I agree with him. As for the Cunningham comment, it just makes you look clueless.
arguing which club has the better potential is only gonna wreck the thread mate , been a good debate so far
the words honour and football do not go together in our modern game unfortunately and you could actually argue that they never did. in fact it's only a job you know. move on. next.........................................................
This will be funny when Nige lures Rosenior away from us, and all those fans that hated him will suddenly love him.
It is a situation that no one could prevent, he knew what the deal was when he came here and he has delivered. Lets face facts, he brought together a fine bunch of players and the results came. Now he wants to consider his future and who can blame him. His replacement will already be waiting for the call. When he comes, he will get better pay and a bigger budget. We paid him the market value for his services when he came. He has increased his value and we have benefitted. So let him go if he needs to, and OLM is quite right, he has gone its a done deal.
The worst part about all this is that we will now have to suffer David Burns BA (Hons) using his second degree in psychology (or summat) to justify the fact that he knew, from Nigel Pearson's facial features, that the move would go through all along. The fact of the matter is, it's a better paid job than he is on now!
it depends who comes in......its a job remember. and before Nigel Pearson lures anyone away, he has plenty of over-paid crap to wade through once again in Leicester
I've invested in one of those modern radios with a tuner and an on - off switch that allows me to decide what I hear. I find people will post the salient bits on here and add proper facts to any speculation cooked up by local hacks. Seems like the cart pulling the horse, but there it is.
i wonder if he will show up tomorrow night, or on Wednesday for Cameron Stewart's return for that matter
looking at the odd history , over the weekend , the odds have shortened for Di Matteo (from 25/1 to 10/1) , Davies (from 10/1 to 6/1) and NP , from (4/9 to 4/11) all in 3 days!
There is no clear out needed here. Except maybe Vassell but he is out long term injured All Nigel need to do is get the best out of people like Andy King and Jermaine Beckford.
I know he's asked for permission to speak to them and he knows what's on offer, he's only going to talk to them to accept it, or he'd have turned it down. Only if he gets there and finds that there's a clause that says he's sacked after 5 losses, or something equally ridiculous, will he now reject it. Either way, the fact that he's shown he's happy to walk away half way through his project with us, has killed it for him here. I'd hazard a guess, that by our next game, our manager will be Steve McClaren.
Think Billy Davies would be a great choice for you guys, to be honest i wanted him as our next manager, but surprisingly he has only been mentioned by the press, and seems to not even have been considered by our owners. I'm playing catch up with all this latest news i have to admit, but can't deny im a little shocked, if its all true, that we have come back for nige, tho as mentioned earlier in this thread, it is football, and nothing should surprise any of us i guess. Contracts, whether its for players or managers nowadays, seem to mean nothing, and loyalty is a word, long since lost in football vocabulary im sad to say..............
Anyone with a brain who watches us play and figure out where were going wrong. A team with 8 centre mids and 1 winger. Doesnt take a genius
