I am trying to rationalise this. If someone was seeking to discuss a potential job opportunity, most people would want to at least have a meeting to find out more. I hope this is all NP does.

I feel gutted it has gone this far. I rate NP highly and think City have been playing some great stuff under him and I am actually more excited with his team than Phil Brown’s team of 2008.

MON- please tell me this is a joke. He left Villa and Celtic because they weren't progressing and there was a lack of financial stability, however, both were still in Europe and were in the top league of their respective countries. We've got neither of these. No chance he'll come here.
Curbishly- another shandy drinkin' southern fairy
Jones- most likely out of them but would cost money.
Robbins- failed at Barnsley and people started to dislike him. So it's a no on that front for me.

love all the comments on here, saying if he does go, it will down to the section of negative fans..some people just cant accept they where wrong about there hero all along!
it sums it up nicely in todays mail, "there where no rousing calls for the manager to stay on saturday from the terraces, which tells its own story!"

    where were you all??
the minority, isnt quite as small as some think!

Most people thought it was just speculation. And i doubt many called him a "hero".

What's your problem with Pearson anyway? Seems the only reason to dislike him from the Pearson Out Brigade is that he isn't all sunshine lolly pops and rainbows everywhere.

Here's a snippet of Mr Duffen's usual bore-fest on Twitter regarding the whole situation (not that anyone really cares about him):- "Sven's been on phone again. Wants to do the whole #lcfc #hcafc job-swap thing. He's pricey. Might offer Carly in her old role to smooth deal"

There were quite a lot of chants for Nigel Pearson on Saturday.

I think your being a little naive. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't tapped up prior to Sven getting the heave-ho. He'll know full well what's on offer and by asking to talk to Leicester he's basically burnt his bridges on purpose and made his position at Hull City untenable.

got off on the wrong foot making harper his 1st signing <laugh> took hium 18 months to realise koren was the best central midfielder in the league, disliked him last season because not losing was far more important then winning...away at reading we had a free kick in the 92nd min, 30 yards from goal, we didnt have 1 player in there box.......then away at qpr, with 3 points stil giving us a chance in the play offs, a 93rd minute corner, and he left 3 men back to mark there 2, even tho a point was absolutely useless in the grand scheme of things........got more positive this season slightly, but 14 goals in 16 games still tells its own story
dont like his arrogance, others like him giving the local media the run around, i think it makes him look an arse..and saturdays dig at the fans was the final straw for me..

Damian Johnson on Look North said one of the reasons why NP could be leaving is due to 'penny-pinching' at the KC. This could explain why we during the past few weeks when we have had injuries we haven't brought in loan signings.

Pearson has done his time with me, he shows us no respect. His interview style is arrogant and very self-important; he gets paid a shed-full of money to be a manager and representative of our club and I detest the fact that he cannot speak in decent terms when asked questions he should be expecting – everyone has a job to do, but perhaps some do it better than others! He’s a ****ing arse who needs to lighten up and realise respect is a two-way street. <grr>

I am not a lover of his football either; his tactics lose us games we should have won – 3 from 9 is not the result we were all looking for. It is difficult for him to stay, so let’s grab the comp and move on; two can play that game. :1980_boogie_down:

I too like Mark Robbins :emoticon-0148-yes: and I think our club and team is ideally suited to his style. I would love to have an ex-striker as a manager; someone who thinks about winning the game, rather than looking for the opposition to lose it! :emoticon-0169-dance

Some folk believe we will have players wanting to follow him to Leicester? If they do, then I will drive the treacherous bastards to Leicester myself – who wants ingrates in their squad. :emoticon-0172-mooni Let’s see what Wednesday brings.

Managers who walk out on clubs always come up with stuff like that. Bet he will keep adding to his list of grouch and grumbles.
