Club have confirmed Nigel Pearson remains our manager He is the best man for the job long term. Yes he has made mistakes this season and even if we do get relegated I still think he is the best manager to get us back up. Looking at the league table we still have a very good chance of staying up. While I don't think we will stay up after yesterday its not impossible

The amount of times people find out about transfers, takeovers, manager changes etc thrugh the media you can just imagine him sitting at home after his dinner, just thinking to himself he'll see how Burnley got on earlier, puts SSN on and sees them saying he's been sacked.
I don't think either of us will stay up but all you have to do is look at Sunderland from last season and you will know anyone has a chance of staying up. We are just 4 points off safety. Anything can happen in football
Your next 4 out of 5 games are away at Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham and either Chelsea or Man City. You only have 17pts from 24 games and need to probably at least double your points tally. Looking at the fixtures, your squad, your form, your lack of experience and managers state of mind who unnecessarily gives interviews about being able to handle himself, like he's got an upcoming fight. Relegated for sure
An established Premiership club who unfortunately has had a lot of experience fighting relegation battles, a team that had loads of premiership experience and a higher standard of players than yourself. What happened last season was extremely rare and I don't think we could pull it off again!
