Don't let facts get in the way of a good story, eh lads James Mcarthur @jamesmcarthur16 · Feb 7 Situation with me and Nigel Pearson is getting blown out of proportion http://www.sportlobster.com/post/508704/situation-with-me-and-nigel-pe.html https://twitter.com/jamesmcarthur16
I dont get it, arent they both clearly laughing at the time? It's hardly akin to Pardew headbutting Meyler.
I've just spoke to a mate (Leicester fan) who told me a few bits that haven't been reported. Leicesters CEO was put on a plane first thing yesterday morning for an emergency meeting with the owners in Thailand. And the source of last nights story was NP's back room staff who apparently were all in the knowledge that Pearson had left the club. Then came the long silence before the statement making a U turn. Definitely more to it than simple hearsay and Chinese whispers being reported as fact.
Some more good news for Nigel, Alexis Sanchez has been declared fit to play against them tomorrow night.
Sorry what does this prove? It doesn't change the fact he put both hands round a player's neck, held onto him when he was trying to play football and then uttered some nonsense like a crazy person in his post match interview.
If the person it happened to doesn't give two sh*ts about it, why is everyone else up in arms about it!? Has Pardew even mentioned it? Have Palace complained?
The whole footballing world saw(and heard) Nigel Pearson make a complete cock of himself on Saturday. I'm not sure anyone is up in arms about it, most people just think he's lost the plot and it's funny.
I think they're waiting for the imminent misconduct charge to be sorted before they sack him. It'll be a cheaper option. They've already decided he's off, as he's a mentalist, so they may as well take the cheaper option. It's not as if results are going to improve with a new manager. ****'s **** at the end of the day.
As soon as Leicester were promoted the general opinion on here was that Pearson wouldn't cut it in the Prem. We were right so the longer he stays their manager the better.
To be honest, I actually feel quite sorry for the bloke watching his Press Conference on Sky (and I didn't think I'd be saying that). Rob Dorsett being the typical SSN journalist badgering on, and on, and on when there is absolutely no need. Old Sockhead is actually acting with real class at the moment.
Are they showing it live? If so then something fishy is going on. Why would the club agree to it being shown live?* *Ignore this if it isnt.
Pearson's doing his press conference now... Henry Winter @henrywinter At King Power Stadium. Pearson asked whether he’s “confident” about still being #lcfc manager at end of season. “Yes, of course I am.” Henry Winter @henrywinter Pearson on grappling McArthur: “It’s not helpful when the 3 fountains of knowledge on ‘Match of the Day’ make a mountain out of a molehill”
Gary Lineker @GaryLineker Ah Nigel Pearson is blaming MOTD for making a mountain out of a molehill. We'd best be careful in future, the fella can look after himself.
Well yeah, but he's right. I think people are looking for controversy, it was very minor and nowhere near the same league as Pardew butting Meyler.
Nobody is suggesting it's worse than Pardew, just that it was ****ing weird and a completely mental thing to do.
So 10 pages of something that didn't actually happen and was just rumour and speculation? Nice work. Might be true next time I guess.
