Having looked across social media there’s bucket loads of fans from various clubs crying their ****ing eyes out about it.

The irony being, that the ones who are crying the hardest seem to be the ones that don’t pay for Sky anyway and don’t go to the game ffs.

People in general, I see a tremendous amount of beeling for something that is completely optional.

17-3 against PPV in the voting, so pretty decisive, but will SKY and the Prem League listen, well they've always stuck two fingers up to the EFL, so I guess they are just going to stick two fingers up to Prem supporters, welcome to the otherside <laugh>

Loads of shouts of exploitation, Murdoch is a **** (Murdoch doesn’t own Sky anymore), general beel about having to pay a bean let alone 15 notes. Blaming the broadcasters (who’ll make **** all out it) when it’s 19 of the 20 PL clubs who’ve made the decision.
Daft shouts along the lines of ‘its costs a fiver a month in India yanno’
All seem to have completely lost sight of the fact of what it actually is, who’s shout this is, the lack of match day revenue for their own clubs, the fact that none of these games would have been legally available to view at all in normal circumstances and as you say, it’s ****ing optional yer daft twats.

Sky have never shown all of the games anyway.
If your fixture hasn’t been chosen as a televised one, you now have the option to pay to watch it. So either pay it, or just keep doing what you’ve always done. (Illegal streams, radio, attending the game)
    Am I missing something here?
    Seems ok to me.

Seems ok to me too, but I won't be paying.

United should be grateful I'm watching them for free.

I should be charging them £15 a game!

Yeah, what you’re missing is, we can’t go to games. Which makes being asked to pull up for a televised game look a bit like a pisstake.

As others have said though, it’s optional. So I will take option b), Up yer Bollocks, and watch the racing instead.

I've enjoyed being able to pay to watch my team, so no complaints from me. <whistle>

It sort of feels like, someone just nicked the rocking chair and blanket from Premier League fans <laugh>

Don’t most pass holders get to watch a free stream of all home games anyway though?

That’s my point though. If you don’t have a pass then you must either pay on the gate or watch it on telly when available.
Honestly can’t see the harm in giving people another option to watch the game.

Like you mate, I've enjoyed having another option. Comfort of my own home, watching every league game, of the club I love, all for a tenner a throw, win, win.

Spennymoor Town in the national league north, the other team in black and white I support are live streaming both home and away games for six quid a pop. Seems fair enough to me as there's no other way of seeing the matches. I think they had 400 supporters stream their last away game.
