    Am I the only one who reckons we'd have been just as well off keeping Nolan as an out and out striker?

    He would have been the perfect Lineker style poacher. Just a thought like.

    That's what I've thought he'd always transform into. I imagined him as more of a Kevin Phillips-type, comes off the bench to feed off a big man and grab a goal

    I can't imagine us getting him. 1) he is 30 this year, 2) he will have hardly no re-sale value, 3) his wages would be too high, 4) he would want European football and 5) he will probably go to Russia.
