The Jam and The Smiths are better than Oasis. Liam Gallagher's more of a **** than Weller and Morrissey. Just my two cents cus I was feeling left out.
I once touted tickets for three Paul Weller gigs on Hollywood Boulevard (actually maybe it was "scalping" in the States?) To be honest I was slightly ****ting myself because I had no idea if I was on anyone else's turf and about to get shot Flogged them all though, made a good profit and had a cracking time at the gigs He played one night of Jam stuff, one night of Style Council stuff and one night of his solo stuff Knew his drummer a bit at the time so when the band arrived him and the bassist stopped outside to chat to me and Mrs Tash...pocket full of tickets for sold out gigs and knowing the band I was like a local celebrity, for the first and last time in my life! Still got the drumsticks and set lists from the gig somewhere, and a photo of Mrs Tash with Weller from there too
