Every side needs a battler like Tabb in the middle of the park certainly. Thank christ for his/our sake his wing days are done.
Think tractorbhoy has a point, I mean Mick says he wants players who are a consistent 7 all the time rather than going from a 9 to a 4 but that is a point up for debate, last season Tabb was being slated but now he's Mr dependable, so his performances have been erratic right? Same goes for Anderson, Skuse, Hyam and Murphy whose performances have fluctuated through Micks reign. I think it just comes down to what Mick expects from a player and not being able to work with players who are out of his comfort zone, he rates players performances out of possession more than in but for me it's what you do on the ball that wins you games. I've heard Mick praise players who have lost the ball every pass they make during a game because they work hard and I've seen him say players have done 'okay' when they've come on and changed the game as they showed some intent and attacking instinct on the ball
