When a player as old as Sanchez and who has only 6 months before he can go anywhere without a transfer fee, is not released despite a fee of £60m, then we have proof yet again that premiership clubs are living in a different universe. If Sanchez is not transferred in the next hour Arsenal would lose £60m. And for what? 6 months worth of football from a reluctant player, who knows he will decide his future club without any transfer fee. The old principles are not just being altered they are being smashed.
Arsenal has to be one of the dumbest clubs around. They allowed most of their key players to run down their contracts then refused to sell for megabucks. lol But honestly, with the way clubs are acting, I can see players going for only 2-3 year contracts soon. Go for 3 years at a time, run it down and leave to get mega salary somewhere else without transfer fee. Watchout for new free agent market.
Anyone else a little concerned about Pogba's injury? The last and only comment Jose has made was "Paul isn't here, I have no idea how he is". Strange thing for a manager to say, surely he gets regular reports from the medical staff either at OT or from France or where ever Pogba is if he isn't here.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4764752/paul-pogba-return-date-manchester-united-chelsea/ Looks like November 5th date has been set.
"Paul Pogba will make £89m Man Utd move look cheap, says Jose Mourinho" I think in this post Neymar era, he is match by match confirming that he is worth that amount. If any player with that bit extra is valued at tens of millions more then £89m is not actually over the top. The average RS brazilian is going to Barca for £120m+ . There is your answer.
The Premier league's true invincible? Played: 35 Won: 22 Draw: 13 Lost: 0 http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11209683/pogba-is-the-invincible-one (and had cost only a fraction of his true value of >£150m )
What you quoted was in reference to it being bonfire night, which no one got! You're right though, he's playing very well. I was at last night's game and he stands out and his control of the game is superb. Very much the engine and focal point for United, he really make things look easy and is a cracking player. If he could find his range with shots and free kicks and so score more he'd be the complete centre midfielder. He more or less is anyway.
If VVD can go for 75m then Pogba's 89m doesn't seem a lot. 89m 5 years ago would have been wow, but today, it's not a top fee. A good deal United got for him imo can see why Fergie maybe didn't fancy him though, he does think he the player he will become rather than the player he is, or rather, he did when Fergie was there.
Didn't say he didn't rate him. Everyone rated the Pog, Pogba was I thought kind of demanding first team games? Fergie is not the kind of person you demand things from
