Funny thing, these acoustics. The poor acoustics in the East Stand compared to the acoustics in the North Stand when away fans sounded louder in previous seasons. Now the away fans are louder because they are in the East Stand and our singers are in the North Stand. There is, of course, a simpler explanation. Not enough join in the singing. Arsenal fans are reputedly some of the quietest in the PL but 2,500 of them made more noise for long periods (good turnout, I wonder how many we would take to lLondon on a Monday night for a televised game even with free transport). Listen to recordings of games. When FC are at home you can hear noise in the West Stand even though there are less than half as many in there. Anyone suggesting the West Stand get behind the team is living in a fantasy land. Not that most of South and East are a lot better. During Liverpool.game on the TV you could hear the benches shouting and that was a game where we did well and won. Best thing that could happen is relegation, the disappearance of the PL as opposed to Vity fans and their tickets being snapped up by proper fans when we go back up.again. Won't happen though as there aren't enough people in Hull who are bothered or well off enough to commit themselves to City to fill the ground with vociferous types who back the team.
So, he is that keen to see what people on here say despite not being the most prolific poster, he posts whilst walking along, pulls his car up, or goes in a pub or cafe to give us the benefit of his opinions. Yeah, sure.

Wrong on all a counts Depends if you class an East Hull Village near as near the ground ? Never left a game early not like those in the North stand I have a little device called a smart phone and can be used virtually anywhere so comes in handy whilst waiting in the car park for the girls to finish their shift before dropping them off at Hull uni.
