Why did we give them Forecast?, he's our number 1 and due a England call up. Any one else think Gazza has been signed as our 3rd choice?.
Best advice with forecast is to shoot him then string him up between the goalposts. That way he might stand a chance of blocking a shot...

yeah pretty much! He played his first ever 1st team football (been her since Lowe ) in the Markus Liebherr memorial cup, and it was a white knuckle ride of immense proportions for the whole 45 mins!
I agree with an earlier poster than maybe Forecast just needs some game time - hopefully his arrogance and ego have been lessened by not playing for us and he'll do a decent job for Gillingham. Either that or Bitterne FC.

Another Gills fan in peace, can I just ask what has Forecast done (or not done) to be slated so much? Can he really be that bad? He was your 2nd/3rd/4th/5th choice last season
On the field or off the field? On the field, very little for Southampton, 45 minutes in a preseason friendly where he was diabolical. Other than that, a few games at Grimsby where they sent him back early saying he was the worst keeper they ever had - sentiments echoed by Thurrock and Bromley. Off the field he's a dickhead, too. I've never witnessed it myself but countless reports say he's always out in Southampton clubs acting like he owns the place, constantly starting fights including once with a girl.
The fact that most Saints fans have never seen Forecast play tells you something. We have never managed even to get him loaned out. Presumably we are picking up the tab for him, so may be good deal for the Gills. Hope for everyone's sake it works out.
There's a lot of myth becoming fact I'm afraid. If someone said that Rickie or Kelvin was a bit of an arsehole then we wouldn't have a word of it. But because it's Forecast it becomes undeniable fact, his alleged wage gets an extra zero put on the end of it, and a 45 minute outing in a friendly becomes the worst performance in history. In reality, none of us know anything about him, and there's every chance that a new start could see him do perfectly well. Sorry, but it's true.
