Zero. Fully expected Woodman to be better than Pickford with all the hype that was built up around the kid and seeing him first hand he was utter garbage. Thought Longstaff may have a chance at an early stage but he the declined massively. Best hope we would have would be England to nip in ahead of Scotland and get Anderson an early call up but that's highly doubtful as he's untested at any level other than League 2. He would be a canny shout for a loan for you lot in the championship though.

don't know if you are just trying to get some bites or not but you are really showing the difference between our fans and yours, i have never ever heard a safc lad deny that shearer was a top goal scorer (they don't have to like him to respect his record) yet we have a lad who some team thought was worth a mental amount of money who has proven himself time and time again with some outstanding saves and has lead the line for his national team as well, despite there being two or three other very good english keepers around at present and you cannot bring yourself to give him any real credit.
yes he has let a good few in this season, as he did when he played for us (badly performing team in front of him) but his quality has never been in doubt.

Nah seriously I'm not after bites. I've possibly misunderstood what his meaning was but it wasn't clear. Yes Pickford is a decent shot stopper and does well for England and he did well for you guys and you got a ton of cash for him.......but lets be honest we got £8m for a left back off Everton who had never played for us and never played for them either from what I can tell. Everton hoyed silly money at transfers.
If you go on Everton's Its a Grand Old Team forum you will get what I'm talking about. Recently they think he's been a rock. For 2 years they think he's been an utter liability, he has his own thread.
