The sport is fine, but the franchise system is utter ****. They are moving teams again now, just so incompetent owners can continue running their franchises elsewhere.
I played a bit of American Football at uni. My friends on the rugby team always said "it's rugby for puffs", "why do you need all that padding" etc. So our manager organised a half and half against the rugby firsts. We beat them at our game in the first half 23-3. We then paggered them at Rugby 32-10. They were very sad afterwards. Turns out our running backs are quicker than their wingers. Duh.
There was a team in Hull at one time, 1980's when channel 4 were showing NFL. If only people supported their local team.
Belichick has always been the real force behind them, he seems to do well with backup QBs even, but they love to make QBs the stars (or 'face of the franchise') in the NFL. Of course he hasn't been without controversy with the cheating aspect.
I think Falcons will be in front most of the game and patriots will claw back. Whether they take lead or not I am not sure.
Man all the commercials and trailers. New pirates of caribbean , transformers, Logan... spider-man homecoming should be shown soon
In comparison, here on BBC One, they're doing analysis instead. Think I prefer this to adverts for average movies. Apart from Logan, that looks great.
I don't think the Pats have the mental edge right now. Pats will need a big half time team talk to win this one
Yes! Touchdown Falcons! 0-14! Pats starting to look a little shaken. Not ruling them out of anything though.
