I know nothing about him apart from the stats, and I would trust your judgement much more than them. Can't really see the point unless we are buying him. Is he a cf or a no10? I'd rather see us playing Chery, Luongo and The Big German with the new bloke than a load of loan signings.

BAMFORD BRACE FOR CHELSEA

Where Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford will spend the second half of the season remains unclear after he returned to Stamford Bridge from Crystal Palace.

If he wants to go on loan again he can't play competitively for his parent side but he did turn out in an U21 friendly against QPR earlier today.

He scored twice in a 5-0 win and that's sure to whet the appetites of managers who are contemplating a move for the 22-year-old.
 
i saw one of his goals and the QPR defender turned his back when Bamford kicked the ball. <doh>

I don't think he's a number 10.
I must admit that his goal scoring ratio is very good.
I completely agree that there seems no point in us getting in loans this season now.
 
he would be a fantastic addition to our squad he was the best player of the whole league when at borough last season

If he is in the last six months of his contract then we are his shop window if we take him. He will be a free agent at the end of the season and that would give him a lot of options if he did well with us. Most likely a bigger club would then snap him up so it wouldn't be in our best interests. I'd be surprised if he was in that contract situation as Chelsea would have sold him by now...
