Thats not completely true Tw, we would have beaten Man City only for a defensive error near the end that cost us two points, against Man Utd despite the sending off we dominated them and we were ok against West Brom until Aggers sending off.
Part of Rodgers complaint is that it's a case of Suarez's reputation going before him in the eyes of Referees and yes hes the maker of his own problem because he dives/falls over when theres no need to and needs to get that part of his game sorted out.
But the referees/linesmen as well as the players have to stick to the rules and if hes fouled he should get a free kick/penalty like any other player, Rodgers is also having a go about the sendings off, Evans tackle for example was just as bad as Shelvey's so it's either a yellow each or a red each.
It's fair to say his meeting with the head of the referees association never had any benefit due to the blatant penalty on Suarez at Carrow Rd on saturday that wasn't given but as i explained his reputation affects the referees decisions instead of the laws of the game.
Exactly PMK but he won't have it even though thats 100% fact. His anger, bitterness and hatred for LFC and Brendan stops him and a few others from seeing the obvious truth.
Nearly all other neutral fans I've spoken to lately has agreed how bad the refs have been with us and how Suarez will need to hit with a Howitzer in the box of he's ever to get a pen in England again.
It doesn't matter one iota that its Suarez. The Refs are made a princely sum since allegedly turning full time 'professionals' to officiate the game and they have no right to hold Suarez to a different set of laws to other players. They are paid to make decisions to the best of their ability by whats in front of their eyes, irrespective of who it is, and give the correct the decision. Their not doing this simply because its Suarez which is out of order, and I for one loved Buck giving Riley **** and then bringing it up again after the game, especially when he highlighted the challenge in the box where Suarez could of easily went down under a silly sliding tackle but was able to stay on his feet and then ended up pulling it back for Sahin to score. Plenty of other players, British and foreign, would of went to ground under that tackle in the box. However, besides Buck no-one in the footy media mentioned it once, as it goes against the myth they have unfairly created of him.
If Gary Neville, who hates LFC and their players probably more than anyone, can sit there two weekends on the run now defending Suarez and going as far as showing all his alleged dives and fouls against him he didn't get, in slow motion replies showing every time there was contact and the Ref was wrong, then there must be something wrong with the way Suarez is being treated by Refs.
