With the news that we have had another bid for Martin Paterson turned down, do you think it's about time SC focused on other targets?
A lot of people have been saying that £2.5 million is too much for Paterson anyway. I think i disagree with this, Paterson would be a great signing and i think £2.5 million is about right, he is a decent young striker and proven at this level. I think the fact that he has had a few injury problems in the last few seasons would mean that i wouldn't bid any higher. If we want a striker who is going to score goals we are going to have to pay good money for them. Is £2.5 million too much?
If we have the money i would like SC to put bids in for Billy Sharp (Might be too much) and Iain Hume (Although he has said he is committed to Preston this season maybe we could persuade him) I really hope SC has got a backup for Paterson because we really need a centre forward!

, or what about a cheeky bid for Adam LeFondre from Rotherham ?
