How many of you have reached the "Past Caring" stage? I no longer care if we lose. If Rafa stays or goes. If I watch the game or not. It's just resignation now of a slow lingering torture of abymal football. Beyond hope. This should be a case study in the future of how to alienate 90% of your loyal customers. Sad days!
How does Perez get a game. His tackling is terrible. Tracking back is terrible. Leaving yedlin on his own all last night. Control and passing is terrible. Shooting and decision making is terrible
I do stiil care, but I find it increasingly difficult to do so when the one person that should care the most, the owner, clearly does not give a ****. I always look for our results and I'm always 'on here' but the days of it affecting my mood or having a major whinge to someone about it are long gone. If we go down then we go down. Is it really the end of the world? Just look along the road and see how the cheesey chips crew are enjoying their football again. The EPL is not the be all and end all. I would love Ashley to sell up, just to see if something different will happen, good or bad. Under his ownership we will always be in limbo with no intention of trying to compete and the club slowly decaying around us. I care about our club slowly slipping away.
Hmmmmmm. In terms of apathy we've had far worse: The second half of the 2015 season under Carver. The whole of the McClaren debacle. 12/13 when our results spelt a Welsh village 06/07 under Roeder start of 05/06 under Souness. And that's before we get on to being **** in the second tier under Jim Smith and then Ardiles. But yeah it's kinda ****, we had more than enough chances to beat Man U, but they just easily picked us off. Brighton are way above us these days.
I certainly have I lost it during our first relegation and it's never really returned. It will only return if Ashley was to leave or die.
tbf both the Championship seasons were fun, it's just that as soon as we get back into the Prem everything returns the usual turgid ****.
Whether my team is doing terribly or doing well football has still lost it. Its just not as fun when you win and its just not as devastating when you lose. Its for the best though, it doesnt deserve as much of our thought, time and effort anymore.
I share your view he's happy making money but he's happy to sell if someone pays over the odds fkrtgr club, sonim other words he's here for good.
I just can’t be arsed anymore. I have a ticket for Blackburn and am honestly thinking about just not going. With the milder weather I need to paint my fence.
It's good to see a successful team playing well and being exciting to watch though, like Liverpool and Spurs are good to watch. Watching the likes of Chelsea or Man U under Mourinho, it's just like the life and passion has been sucked out of the game.
its been 7 years ,since i have been to a game now. i will never go back or buy anything from nufc until this bloke fooks off.
