QPR did murder us, but by lucky I assumed you meant with refereeing decisions. Is it luck that Bothroyd couldnt hit a barn door that day?
This. QPR only had 2 shots on target which were headed off the line SWP and Taarabt played well and scared our fullbacks a bit but it happens Our fixtures this season: Arsenal H 0-0 - fair draw. Nobody deserved to win, hardly any shots Sunderland A 1-0 - Should have had penalty and Sunderland should have had 9 men in the end. Deserved win in second half! Fulham H 2-1 - Deserved to win fairly and squarely QPR A - 0-0 - See above Villa A 1-1 - Controlled game, Villa were the lucky ones Blackburn H 3-1 - Easy win, should have been more Wolves A 2-1 - Played class first half and deserved to be 2 up. Last 20 mins they put us under pressure and their disallowed goal was correctly disallowed imo. Fair enough they should have had a penalty
blind ****er you only have toon eyes get real and look how much diving and pretending to be injured has come into your game, in your eyes skunks can do no wrong
What was your take on each game then if he's so blinkered? Wolves deserved more because of officials and QPR did as well but not because of officials in that case. And when we played you lot there could have been a penalty and two red cards!
So we have been lucky in all our games? Nope your wrong I'm afraid. Every thing I have said is true If we play **** I admit we play ****. Wasn't too impressed with Arsenal, QPR games like but we got the points we needed and our defence has been superb. The past few games our attack has started to look a lot better and we are actually starting to dominate games
You do realise BaRaG that this guy is a bitter mackem and seems the sort that will never say anything positive about Newcastle.
We've gained 3 points by luck this year. 2 against Wolves and 1 against QPR. If you include QPR as "good luck" then you have to include Aston Villa as "bad luck" where we dropped 2 points. So overall I would say we have gained 1 poinr by luck this year. If we didn't have that point, we'd still be 4th, so I don't see what you're getting at. Also don't think you've been dealt any bad luck, you're on the points that you deserve IMO. If I'm worng, give me the evidence?
Just thought I'd pop a few reminders in your direction... Sunderland should have been down to 10 men in the opening game of the season, when Richardson should have seen red for his professional foul on Suarez. Suarez then missed the penalty - double piece of luck. Sunderland should have been down to 10 men in the second game of the season, when Larsson should have seen red for his handball on the line denying Joey Barton a certain goal. - luck. Sunderland should have been down to 10 men vs Chelsea for a disgusting stamp by Bardsley on Juan Mata. It turned out it didn't matter too much as they lost and Bardsley got his deserved ban in the end - slight bit of luck. Most of this luck has been as a direct result of poor refereeing.
Wolves is the first time we have got a result with the aide of a bit of luck!! That old mackem chip on the shoulder is getting bigger with every week!! You lot complain about us on ur boards, yet cant stop talking about us and how lucky we are to be doing so well so far!! Closet Geordies!!!!!!!!
Keep the lucky threads going. We were lucky on Saturday with decisions but probably deserved to win, maybe a draw, and lucky against QPR where we deserved **** all. The rest we've deserved everthing we've taken from the game. Indeed against Villa you'd have to say we were damn unlucky Given was on such good form because we deserved to win. I realise its probably hard to take when you've got fat head derailing your season before its started, but it just comes across as sour grapes. We're exactly where we deserve to be. It won't last and I'm sure we'll end up where we deserve at the end of the season. Probably mid table again.
