All the big charities are just businesses these days and behave in exactly the manner most businesses do.Therefore a lot of employees behave in the same manner .
Lots are just employees same as the people at McDonalds plus some volunteers and folks on the dole building up a work record. Though tbf i have both given & bought stuff off my local Heart foundation shop & they've been fine as with the other charity shops.
Mate, I live on the 5th floor. Could tell you dozens of horror stories about the efforts lazy arsed ****weasels will go to to get out of delivering or collecting ****, even though there's a ****ing lift. Bought a new kitchen from B&Q. Made a point of asking if they would deliver to the 5th floor. Yes, no problem, the salescunt said. He must have forgotten to tell the twat of a driver who turned up with a drivers mate, sucked his teeth a bit, laughed, point blank refused to even bother seeing what they could get in the lift. Me and my fitter got it all up there ourselves, both of us twice the age of that pair of clowns. I'm still waiting for my rebate, 5 years later.
