    Pardew has come across as a bitter, twisted individual who doesn't know how to accept defeat with good grace.

    But there is simply no point in replacing him. We all know who would take over. An even more obliging puppet.

    No he doesn't. As for the comment, just upset with the result. We all are. We were playing a very poor side and managed to contrive to lose a game we should have taken a point from. In a derby! I don't really care if he has no grace or what he says about it. Managers say silly things in press conferences. He is doing an ok job in difficult circumstances. The alternatives are horrific. Looking at Zola etc is pointless, we all know that will not be the way we go
