A couple of interesting websites regarding population growth and saturation levels of particular areas. What is clear is that the saturation of certain areas will not be able to continue. Hopefully the world will right itself with a large world event which wipes out the necessary numbers. If not a big war should do it.

Clearly there will be a point where certain doors have to be closed. Looking at he saturation map there are a lot of unexploited areas which need to be sorted.

There is a big area in South American we could start with. Probably have to get rid of a few trees...

Fredor needs a few neighbours too.

Or perhaps we'll all just live in the sky like Total Recall. Those pesky old people driving vehicles could be a nightmare though.

The moral of the story is stop ****ting yourself and enjoy today <cool><cheers>

Steady on Jim. This won't be a first come first served situation. The demand is likely to be so high, that a selection process will need to take place. Perhaps you can supplement your application with some details about what makes you an ideal candidate. I have already noted down that you get on really well.

Well I thought about inventing a bacon gun to fire rashers at high speed across their front lines... and then a bacon cluster bomb where we can drop a couple of tonne of ASDA smartprice bacon** on their command HQ. If it has no effect on them then we know 100% that they are just using Islam, a peaceful religion for their evil ends and they aren't really followers of the faith. It would be a massive PR hit for them too as the world will see through their bullshit facade of fighting a so called holy war.*

*no offence to any Muslims reading this but I'm trying to use gallows humour to make a point.
**we can pull together a coalition of the willing and also ask Aldi and Lidl for their out of date bacon
This lack of understanding of Islam is sad. Apparently its okay to eat bacon if its past its sell-by date.
Anyway I have declared a personal fatwa (or Obiwa as they are now known) against you (apparently we each get one a year).

Smoked or unsmoked mate?... and Daddies or Heinz?

Regarding the Fatwa..... it reminds me of a Rushdie joke...... 'what goes in and out when the doorbell rings...... 'Salman Rushdie's arsehole'..... <laugh>

Dear Sir,

With reference to your advertisement requesting applications for the position of Fredor's neighbour, I wish to apply for the post.
I shall not beat about the bush, unlike his many long tailed, big footed, pouch bearing sexual partners, as obvious embellishment of my neighbourly credentials may harm my application.
I can assure you that should I be successful and get the move of my dreams I will lash him in the bollocks every day and twice on Sundays.

I hope this application gets the due consideration it deserves.

Yours unfaithfully.

BTK and Hank summing up the difficulties in a single thread. Two well-informed individuals offering reasoned, balanced and ultimately completely different perspectives!

The problem with the moronic, religious and easily led is they all believe the same thing, more or less. They believe in a future that involves virgins and eternal happiness the second you press the detonator. Unwavering, untainted, uneducated belief. It's insanity, for want of a better term.

With broad understanding and education comes a tonne of other things - socialism, economics, socio-econimics, human rights, ethics, morality. Whilst we sit and discuss the most politically correct way to deal with terrorism, educated but divided as we are, more of us are likely to be blown up. This will continue regardless until the tipping point/zenith whereby enough education and intelligence exists to dispel the stupid theories of religion.

For me, the way to tackle this problem is to not just hope that Hank is right, but to actively force technology, education, awareness and understanding down the throat of the third world. We need Apple, AT&T, Verizon, Microsoft and Dell to take portions of the 100's of billions of dollars they have squirrelled away for shareholders and create free devices, free internet access. Socialists talk of a world without walls - we're already there. Nothing wrong with national identity, as long as the WWW connects us all and gives us the freedom to air our views, learn and understand the world in full around us. We should go at anyone denying its' people that, like North Korea. Hell, these nations should WANT to embrace it; look at China, India and Japan since the rules were relaxed.

I suspect we come from very different ends of the political spectrum, but I pretty much agree with all of this as an ideal!

Are Frazzles okay? Not sure I could ever convert when the Caliphate rolls into town if you're not allowed to eat Frazzles.

These primitive thoughts do not only infest the third world my friend - they are rife in the West. Misogyny (I mean the real sort not the sort of **** that gets western feminists triggered), homophobia, also significant percentages of western Muslims wanting Sharia governance, the belief in the most severe punishment possible for anyone percieved to be insulting towards Muhammed, the belief suicide bombing being a reasonable response to attacks on the faith and also - more worryingly - that they would not inform the authorities of plots or terrorist locations. This is not rational. The hatred isn't just taught in certain Mosques and faith schools either but in prisons. France has a Muslim population between 6-9 percent but a prison population estimated at nearly 70 percent. Belgium similar with 6-7percent of the general population but more than 40% of the prison population. Its staggering really and with projected demographic trends it may well rise even more over the next few decades.

talking about turkey, ive noticed some fking cheap holiday deals knocking about>>>>>>seems there`s always an upside 2 a downside <ok>
Well they'll probably pay you to go to Tunisia mate. It's a ****ing crying shame for all those normal Muslims who were just living their lives trying to feed their families through a job in the tourism industry.very sad.

It's not the praying on a mat bit that is the problem. It's the going around killing people bit.

It seems like it started with him being a petty low-life thief, a bully, then doing time, looking for something in his empty life to give him 'meaning', mixing with other freaks in prison, finding Allah and converting, praying on a mat five times a day, having his already done-in head turned by other jihadist nutters and then finally, for some, unknown reason, he snapped.

The praying on a mat, well, he may as well be talking to the fairies. Maybe it was the fairies that told him to kill? :undecided:

That was Ronald's quote mate. But in response to what you said - yes, the things you listed are still rife. However, there is also a growing population of people brought up in muslim homes who respect their background but also respect their home society and it's values too - wearing western clothes, going out with the girls/lads, having a laugh, working alongside us and pulling on the black and white at weekends. Some do this while still following their core beliefs while others are less interested.
