TVR - Difference of opinions is what makes these forums entertaining. I respect your opinion - I dont expect you to agree with mine. I believe I am right, you dont which is part and parcel of debate. I have no agenda at all to make people rise to the bait as you put it - its just I have strong feelings when it comes to Parkinson. Most disagree, but some dont.
IA - I was referring to Parkinson (naturally) not Reid.
I am very happy to put my head on the chopping block and say categorically Bradford will get relegated with Parkinson. You simply cannot succeed if you have no ability.
In fact I sense a good opportunity to start punting again on football matches.

Put simply. Parky assistant manager in prem-relegated
    Put simpler. Championship manager- relegated
Put in simpler dimple terms failed miserably to get promotion. Won the sod all trophy tho and lumbered us with overpaid rubbish who tescos would not even put on the tills.

Can't see why anyone can possibly think he was anything more than an incompetent plum.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion, and to share it, although I only saw the team a few times under Parky our performances were abysmal at times and I didn't buy into his style but I do think he was hamstrung by the clubs lack of financial stability at the time which lead to some very poor signings (mostly free, who were all he could afford) and a plethora of loan signings which didn't help.

As for Bradford under him I'm sure he can succeed there if he has the right people around him and some support from the board - but I wont pay them any more attention than they usually get (which is absolutely none)

Reid Benson Fracis and Doc would all be excellent in league 2 if he took them to Bradford...Bradford are rich for league 2 though would imagine wage cuts would be in the offing if any deals went through

Uncle Les was only manager for a month, then realised he wasn't up to it so resigned so can't see what he did wrong?

Pardew fecked the club up and demanded £1.5m to go!

Mr Parkinson did his best, but wasn't up to the job. He thought he was doing the best for the club by staying but it seems he was wrong.

Tell you what. It'll make NewsNow's Charlton page even more confusing. It already suggests Bradford stories on the strength of Valley Parade, imagine what all the former player, former manager stuff will do, along side all the race horse trainer called Charlton and the Bobby says Man Utd are good stuff.

Kyel Reid would do more than a decent job in League One never mind League Two. In my mind this is a cracking signing for Bradford.

I think he struggled in a struggling team last year. If you chuck him into the current Charlton setup I could see him being very good indeed.

There are different styles of football which can be played with differnet types of players who are available for different amounts of money. Parkinson played one style of football which he had found effective when he had achieved promotion with Colchester. That style required utility players who could scrap the ball up to the front where maybe a couple of goals were scored. The yellow and red card count was always high because the officials could see that they were industrious cloggers on the whole and the game wasn't pretty. It could be achieved on a very low budget.

CP has a different style of passing play by skillful players who don't cost the earth and are sometimes overlooked in the lower leagues for being a bit lightweight. They cost a little bit more than the industrious cloggers and surprisingly some of the players who were in Parkinsons team would want to play the that CP sees football being played. It is an easier game to watch, the red and yellow count will be lower but the injuries may be higher when they come up against a team of the Parkinson style, therefore you need a bigger squad to accomodate injury concerns. Overall the CP squad will be more expensive because of the numbers but with careful selection of players and adherence to a wage policy it can be achieved.

Neither is right or wrong the Parkinson style squad will contest for promotion if the other sides are worse. Hopefully with the protection of the officials, the CP style squad will not get clogged off the field and will win more in this league.

The main difference is that as you go up the leagues there are more CP style squads and better officials. Therefore the Parkinson style squads get promoted but come back down whilst the CP style squads can compete at a higher level. Gus Poyet appears to be proving this theory which seems to work at this point in football's history.

This says that both Parkinson and CP have had or have squads that will vie for promotion. The CP style will hopefully find it a little easier and move onwards in the Championship.
