This is probably going to create quite a debate, but I am just calling it as I see - and I have been to all three of our games so far and have closely watched Park.
For me I am not sure where his best position is - he doesnt have enough pace to play on the right or left and we have better CM players in Faurlin and Granero.
He does work hard no doubt and can pick a good pass out, but tbh doesnt offer much else so far. I am prepared to be patient but to me it seems his legs have gone but his brain clearly hasnt.
Yesterday at City for example, several times he had the option to run down the wing and get a cross in, but time and time again kept cutting inside where he was quickly closed down. One time he did go down the wing and Fabio played the ball on for him to chase. And he was quickly beaten to the ball.
As I say, he is clearly intelligent, but does he still have the body to be able to do it to a sufficient standard. Again, I am willing to be patient and let him settle in, but this is just a few observations from the first three games.
