I think I read a few months ago that someone said (might have been the Archbishop of Canterbury) that IS were the most evil thing to arrive in the World since Adolf Hitler. The world needs to unite as it did back then to get rid of these people together.

Let's all remember that this it's a small percentage of the Muslim population who support these attacks - we need the help of the vast majority of sane, peaceful, loving Muslims if we are going to win the war and the peace against these nutjobs
 
First thing is shut the borders,what do you see in the swarms coming across europe,Mostly men.
This is no refugee crisis if it was why not stay in the first safe muslim country they entered.
Already one of those bombers came across according to findings on finger prints.
Believe me there will be thousands more in those swarms.
France has been hit,it will only be a matter of time before the uk has a big carnage on its hands.

And to be fair our Government is only taking refugee families from the camps

It may well be but don't be fooled in to thinking there aren't many hundreds of like minded muslims in the UK who believe that ISIS are undertaking the will of Islam, they are quietly going about their business, snakes in the basket, as they describe themselves, waiting and inwardly gleeful at every successful atrocity.

I have travelled in taxis all over Bristol and have spoken to many muslims drivers who when coaxed gently can barely contain their real thoughts and believe me ISIS is not the abhorrence to them you might imagine. I'm not saying that they will all commit terrorist atrocities at the drop of a hat but don't be naive enough to think all UK muslims are listening to John Lennons imagine on their CD players.

Its not ALL by any means... but more than enough.

It took just 8 of them to bring Paris to this chaos.

One more atrocity in this country and I get the feeling people will react and the real tragedy will be many innocent muslims will be tarred with the same brush, (and sikhs). and the political correctness we have created will not serve the people it was meant to protect.!

I fear you are right Banksy.

The best things that the innocent Muslims could do to stop that happening is to 'out' the radicals amongst them, who are bringing their religion into serious disrepute and consequently endangering them, rather than keeping quiet and looking the other way.

Thats why the majority of people consider them to be just as guilty as any fanatics.. I'm sick of hearing apologists all over the media avoiding the difficult questions like these!

I tend to get rather upset with posts on Facebook etc which identify all Muslims with ISIS. I believe that racism is perhaps the biggest cause of conflict in the world. We are all racists to a certain degree and I accept that. The attached link explains what ISIS is all about and we must accept our intervention is Iraq has contributed to their rise. Of course I don’t condone their use of violence but wonder if they are so much different from other races in the area who want their own homeland and will gladly fight for it. http://www.mirror.co.uk/…/who-isis-story-behind-bloodthirst… My message is therefore that ISIS are extremists from one sect of Islam and the vast majority of Muslims are thoroughly decent people. Meanwhile my thoughts go out to our French friends who like us are stuck in the middle of this mess. The sad conclusion will probably be that “might is right” and we will get further involved militarily but what did that achieve in Iraq? I don’t know what the answer is. The middle East is and always has been a problem

We pretty much know where the vast majority of them are in SYRIA/IRAQ but currently they survive there because the only danger is air strikes, and these must be avoiding collateral damage ( innocent civilians) the local army/ malicia's are not strong enough (yet?) to take advantage of the situation.

The Paris event may galvanise a number of countries to combine more closely to strategic planning, although I suspect this is already the case but in a looser context. there is already a fighting force on the Turkish borders, and fanning out from here would be a starting point, although differences would need to be buried and their numbers and weaponry / ammo supplies topped up !

What we don't know is where "all" the cells are outside the middle east area, the problem is and always has been the first people you come across, THE ONES WE KNOW? ABOUT, are the expendables .. the mules ... donkey's whatever you call them... the bottom of the pyramid. take them out and you never move up the chain, they are easily replaced. Unfortunately in trying to get the people that matter you get the "Paris" and similar results.
 
Handyandy - our foreign policy has been used many times by apologists justifying the rise of this type of extremism. However, France vigorously opposed the Iraq war, yet they have suffered this attack plus others.
I too think the Iraq war was wrong but I don't go killing random innocents to avenge it.
These people just love killing - and then hide behind our liberal and tolerant society values when they see fit.
Moderate Muslims are the ones at most risk from the extremists - because they will share the backlash.

It does appear that finally some are speaking out against these events. There is a 'not in my name' campaign going - but then you have the disgusting scene of British 'Muslims' celebrating the same events openly - applauding mass murder.

Only in this country would that be tolerated.

I dispair, I really do.
 
I once asked on this forum as to who was ultimately the founder of this feel good and let everybody in stupidity but never really got a clear answer. Open borders in these days and times is a welcoming mat for the idiots that want to perpetuate these atrocities on the western world that they so hate. Every attempt to stop them adds fuel to their inexplicable mandate to strike fear in the hearts of innocent people throughout the world.

Namby pamby individual national attempts at reducing or eliminating ,the threat have not, and never will, work. The world is currently meeting in Turkey and I hope they all have a combined plan to work, and possibly fight, together and use this as a window of opportunity for the major powers (yes all of them) to eliminate this scourge from the face of the earth. The world has gone mad when someone believes that they have the right to massacre people at will, no matter what their personal beliefs or nationalities are, and regrettably religion is always the culprit.

We are at a dangerous crossroad and unless the same turn is made by all nations affected by this plague then I fear for my grandchildren and all free people around this planet. Softly softly rarely works and this is a classic situation where brute force is required, and those who will cry that innocent people will get caught up in the carnage only have to look at the news from Paris to see that it is happening as we speak and will continue to do so.
 
Whatever happened to the criminal act called "treason"? In many countries around the world the mere mention of something against the government would result in a painful penalty and although I don't support that kind of political muzzling I think we are fast approaching the time where the streets are not safe and require actions to make them safe again.

When I hear from various countries that the perpetrators were already on their radar and suspected of being involved with radical groups I want to scream 'why the hell didn't you arrest them and find out more about their involvement'. Do it now!

UNFORTUNATELY there always has to a method.. so far after Charlie and already after Paris it has its results
 
Be it in the Balkans or Iraq you had a majority military regime which fiercely discriminated against the minority. You have another we both want the same bit of land scenario with Israel and Palestine. Everyone wants an independent state. The various races/sects simply cannot coexist with one another. If we get involved like they want us to it brings them the publicity they crave and the likelihood that they will have a pop at anyone.
 
I have had many opportunities to engage with muslims including my ex-boss who openly cheered when 911 happened. Another was in a taxi in Hawii and when he exclaimed that his religion was a peaceful one he still ended with the words that if anyone disagreed with that credo then he would (you know the ending). So much for the peaceful bit and don't think for a moment that that philosophy isn't rife amongst them all, because it is.
 
Is my history correct in thinking that the whole area of the world now in flames, and threatening to burn all and sundry along with it, used to be general area called Arabia which consisted of mainly nomadic tribes going about their business in relative peace? Then some politician decided that was no longer workable, and how can anyone exist without clearly defined borders, has led us to this situation. When the current warring nations of the Middle East were formed to suit someone else's idea of a perfect world the troubled started because tribes that used to stay clear of each other were now locked together in some kind of twisted new country.

Stupidity is not a lesson that was taught it is a human trait and failure that is now costing the world dearly.
 
one of the terrorists was Belgian born (currently on the run!)... his 2 brothers were involved also. So yes some might have come over with the refugees but half of the people behind this attack were born in Europe and lived life like we have. The problem isn't just about killing these bastards on their own turf, but stopping European Muslims converting to extremism, the scary thing is, even after this attack, I still think something even worse will have to happen before something serious is done. Lets pray it doesn't and hope if it does it isn't here!

It will believe me,i think i am right in saying world war three will be against the muslim world.
