It seems so long ago, but i have some strange stories, especially about how the Seaburn lot began, i know first hand. Funny how things turn out..

Not strictly true tbh ........... I've not provided any tickets but have managed to help a couple of lads, one from BBC606, and another from RTG.

The tickets are not impossible to get but flights, at that time of year which coincides with the Cannes Film Festival, are very expensive and hotels etc likewise.

As we've provided security for the Ferrari team, in the pits and for the drivers wives etc, I've called in a few favours.

One lucky lad, who sorted out some away tickets for me, came down with his lass a few years back and was given a week's accommodation with us, a trip to Monaco and a car to use.

As it happens he's just sorted out 2 tickets, for me and one of my sons, for the semi-final which just shows that what goes around etc

Mr RAWhite knows him and has just informed me, by pm, that the lad's just had some very bad family news over the last few days, but it didn't stop him helping me.

Makes you proud to be Sunderland to be honest.

I'm a bit ashamed tbh mate ........ I was pestering his life out to drive up to the SOL for tickets, didn't know he'd lost someone who couldn't be closer to him.
Sure you'll understand if I don't say who as he hasn't actually told me himself yet, I don't want to announce it on here in case he looks in
